Baltic Nature Capital (BNC) is a mission-driven company based in the UK, operating at the intersection of climate finance, ecological restoration, and local empowerment.
We exist to unlock nature’s full economic potential - not only for carbon removal, but for biodiversity recovery, rural livelihoods, and long-term environmental stability.
We are not a consultancy. We are a strategic operator - developing, co-owning, and delivering nature-based projects through trusted partnerships with landowners, governments, and global investors.
BNC was established to respond to a clear need: credible and scalable pathways for investing in nature, aligned with international frameworks such as the Paris Agreement and the EU Green Deal.
Our work is guided by a commitment to integrity, transparency, and long-term value, ensuring that environmental outcomes and economic structures are developed together rather than in isolation.

Baltic Nature Capital (BNC)
Baltic Nature Capital is the lead project originator and strategic coordinator behind the Latvia Natural Capital Programme. Internal governance materials describe BNC as the founding platform lead responsible for stakeholder agreements, investment governance, partner integration, legal contracting, and alignment with national institutions.
Jurijs Prokofjevs
Jurijs Prokofjevs is a Latvia-based land and implementation lead with direct experience in ecological land management and protected landscape stewardship. Project materials describe him as a key figure behind SIA Sita Nature Park and note recognised stewardship credentials linked to LIFE-IP LatViaNature and the EU CAP network. His on-the-ground role gives Baltic Nature Capital direct credibility in land access, habitat management, and practical delivery conditions in Latvia
